The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported that many places in Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, along with some areas in Koshi, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, are currently experiencing light to moderate rain. This afternoon, the weather is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy nationwide. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places across Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Karnali, and the hilly areas of Sudurpaschim province.
Tonight, the weather will remain partly to mostly cloudy throughout the country. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is expected in some areas of Lumbini and Karnali provinces, and a few places in the rest of the country. Additionally, heavy to very heavy rain is possible at one or two locations in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Sudurpaschim provinces.
According to the morning bulletin published by the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in some places in the Lumbini region over the next 24 hours. Residents are advised to stay updated with the latest weather forecasts and take necessary precautions in areas prone to heavy rainfall.
