The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecasted partly cloudy conditions across certain hilly areas of Koshi, Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the rest of the country will experience fair weather.
The Meteorological Forecasting Division has indicated that westerly winds and local wind patterns are influencing the weather. This afternoon, hilly regions are expected to be partly cloudy, with the possibility of light rain accompanied by thunder and lightning at isolated spots in Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
Tonight, the partly cloudy trend will continue nationwide, with occasional light rain and thunderstorms anticipated in select areas of Koshi and Gandaki’s hilly regions. These conditions may have slight impacts on agriculture, tourism, mountaineering activities, as well as road and air transportation.
