The weather across Nepal today is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy, with a chance of light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in several parts of the country, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology. The provinces likely to experience these conditions include Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki.
In addition, heavy rainfall is forecasted in isolated areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Some parts of the Tarai region of Koshi may also experience storms.
These weather patterns are the result of the partial influence of a low-pressure system centered over West Bengal and nearby regions, combined with monsoon winds affecting the country.
For tonight, the weather is expected to remain partly to mostly cloudy, with chances of light to moderate rainfall in one or two locations in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces.
