Nepal is currently experiencing the influence of westerly and local winds, along with a partial effect of moisture-laden air from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.
This combined weather system is contributing to partly to generally cloudy skies across the hilly regions of the country, while the rest of the country is witnessing fair weather conditions this afternoon.

The Division has forecast light to moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning in a few places across the hilly regions. Meanwhile, isolated areas in other provinces may also experience similar weather conditions. There is also a likelihood of light rain and snowfall in some mountainous regions.

As the evening approaches, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy over the hilly areas and fair in the rest of the country. The forecast for tonight indicates the possibility of light to moderate rainfall with thunder and lightning at one or two places in the hilly regions, particularly in Koshi Province.
Additionally, light rain and snowfall may occur at one or two places in the mountainous areas. The Meteorological Division has advised the public to remain alert, especially in areas prone to sudden weather changes and potential thunderstorms.
