Yeti Airlines has reported a notable rise in passenger numbers. According to data from January to July 2024, the airline served 502,230 passengers, marking an increase of 112,046 compared to the same period last year, when 388,184 passengers traveled with the airline.
The number of international travelers with Yeti Airlines has surged by 105%, with the Pokhara sector being the most popular destination. This increase follows the addition of two ATR-72 aircraft in January 2024, after partnering with Asian Life Insurance Company Limited. The new aircraft have enhanced flight safety and increased the frequency of flights to all destinations.
Yubaraj Bista, Chief Business Officer of Yeti Airlines, expressed enthusiasm about the growth. “We are excited by the increase in passenger numbers. Since June, we have also started offering chocolates, peanuts, and juices to make flights more comfortable and enjoyable, as part of our strategy to expand aggressively and ensure safe, pleasant air travel.” Currently, Yeti Airlines operates a fleet of seven ATR aircraft.
