Savor the Best at Sauraha’s 19th Annual Food Festival: Begins February 11

The 19th edition of the annual food festival will take place in Sauraha, Chitwan, from February 11 to 15, marking Valentine’s Day celebrations. The event is organized by the Restaurant and Bar Association of Nepal (REBAN) Sauraha to promote tourism.

During a press conference, REBAN Sauraha President Dhruba Giri shared that the festival aims to boost tourism, showcase local and international cuisine, preserve local culture, and beautify Sauraha’s tourist route. Business owners in Sauraha have also announced a 10% discount on food and lodging during the event.

The festival is expected to increase tourist arrivals by 40% and generate around Rs 3 crore in revenue. It will feature various attractions, including cultural performances, food exhibitions, competitions, and sports events.

The event is supported by Ratnanagar Municipality and co-organized by REBAN Women’s Group, Regional Hotel Association Sauraha, and United Elephant Operation Co-operative Society.
