28 Killed in South Korea Plane Crash

A tragic plane crash in South Korea has claimed the lives of 28 individuals, according to international media reports.

The aircraft, carrying 181 people, including six crew members, reportedly slid off the runway and collided with a barrier. Following the impact, the plane caught fire.

According to a report by South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency, the Jeju Air flight, which was returning from Thailand, crashed during landing at an airport in the southern region of the country. Social media images shared by local residents show smoke billowing from the aircraft.

The plane was carrying 175 passengers and six crew members. Further details regarding the incident are still emerging.

This crash comes just days after a plane accident in Azerbaijan claimed 38 lives.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to uncover the exact cause of the South Korea incident.
