On December 5, 2024, the Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) hosted a meeting with representatives from the Japanese Embassy at its Secretariat. The meeting was led by NATTA President Mr. Kumar Mani Thapaliya and attended by board members, along with Mr. Takahiro Tamura, Deputy Chief of Mission, and Mr. Tadashi Sato, Second Secretary, from the Japanese Embassy. The discussions centered on potential collaborations to advance tourism development between Nepal and Japan.

NATTA presented an overview of its key initiatives, emphasizing strategies for fostering bilateral tourism ties and enhancing the travel experience for visitors from both countries. This meeting marked a step forward in strengthening Nepal’s tourism sector through international cooperation and underscored the shared commitment of both nations to promote sustainable and culturally enriching travel experiences.
