Buddha Air Adds 19th ATR Aircraft to Its Fleet

Private airline company Buddha Air has added its 19th ATR aircraft to its fleet, further strengthening its operational capacity. With the addition of a new ATR-72 series aircraft, the company now operates a total of 16 ATR-72 planes. Buddha Air announced in a press release that the newly acquired aircraft will commence commercial flights by the end of December after completing the necessary documentation process.

The new ATR-72, with the call sign 9N-AOG, was purchased from the ATR Company in Toulouse, France. Currently, Buddha Air’s fleet includes three ATR-42-320 and 16 ATR-72-500 aircraft, making it one of the largest ATR operators in Nepal.

According to Rupesh Joshi, Marketing Director of Buddha Air, the addition aligns with the airline’s commitment to making air travel more convenient and accessible for passengers.

Buddha Air is presently conducting over 140 daily flights across its domestic network, further cementing its position as a leading airline in Nepal.
