With ongoing upgrades at Tribhuvan International Airport and limited flight schedules, Buddha Air has strategically introduced additional flights from Bhairahawa and Pokhara to enhance connectivity and meet growing passenger demand.
In a significant boost to its schedule, Buddha Air has transitioned its Pokhara-Nepalgunj route from three weekly flights to daily operations. Additionally, the airline has introduced a new daily flight between Bhairahawa and Pokhara, providing more options for travelers.
To make night flights more accessible, Buddha Air has also reduced fares across several routes compared to morning and afternoon flights. Passengers flying from Pokhara can enjoy a fare reduction of NPR 500, while those traveling to Bhadrapur and Nepalgunj will see an NPR 1,000 discount. Furthermore, fares to Janakpur have been reduced by NPR 800, making travel more economical.
The presence of international airlines in Bhairahawa is anticipated to stimulate economic growth in the region and boost local tourism. Recognizing the increased traffic, Buddha Air is offering passengers traveling between Kathmandu or Pokhara and Bhairahawa an additional luggage allowance of 25 kg on all fare classes, ensuring convenience for travelers.
The expanded routes, fare reductions, and added luggage benefits align with Buddha Air’s commitment to promoting tourism and enhancing passenger experience across Nepal.
