Chief Ministers Emphasize Investment in Industry and Tourism to Curb Youth Migration

Chief Minister of Madhesh Province, Satish Kumar Singh, has stated that the development of the country’s industrial and tourism sectors is crucial to preventing the migration of youth abroad. Inaugurating a two-day Provincial Investment Conference organized by the Koshi Province Government at the auditorium in Biratnagar today, Chief Minister Singh emphasized that only by increasing investment in industry and tourism can the outflow of young people be halted. He further stated that attracting Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims from neighboring countries India and China could significantly strengthen Nepal’s economy.

Singh suggested that the federal government should introduce necessary policies to attract Indian tourists to Nepal. He also noted that a favorable investment climate is emerging across the country, which could yield positive results for the nation.
