Nepal Airlines Revives Twin Otter 9N-ABT for Reliable Domestic Service

Nepal Airlines Corporation has announced the successful return to service of its Twin Otter DHC-6 aircraft, registration 9N-ABT, following comprehensive engine maintenance and its scheduled annual check. The aircraft, which serves remote destinations across Nepal, had been grounded since September 2025 for maintenance.

Successful Test Flight Marks Resumption of Operations

The airline conducted a test flight on Kartik 24, 2082 B.S., which was completed successfully, confirming the aircraft’s readiness for commercial operations. Following this, Nepal Airlines resumed internal flights from both Twin Otter aircraft on Kartik 25, 2082 B.S., enhancing service capacity and convenience for passengers traveling to the country’s remote areas.

Improved Passenger Service and Convenience

With both aircraft now operational, Nepal Airlines expects to provide smoother and more reliable air services across its domestic network.
