Dollar Exchange Rate Hits New Record High

In recent times, the value of the US dollar has been on the rise, breaking records. On Tuesday, the dollar reached a new record, surpassing the previous high set on Saturday. Today, August 7, 2024, the dollar has set yet another record high.

According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, the selling rate for the dollar today is NPR 134.63, while the buying rate stands at NPR 134.03. This represents the highest dollar rate recorded to date. The previous record, set on August 6, 2024, saw the dollar’s selling rate at NPR 134.46 and the buying rate at NPR 133.86.

In terms of other currencies, the European Euro is being traded at NPR 146.19 for buying and NPR 146.85 for selling. The British Pound Sterling is priced at NPR 170.24 for buying and NPR 171.00 for selling.

The Australian Dollar is set at NPR 86.87 for buying and NPR 87.26 for selling, while the Canadian Dollar is priced at NPR 96.86 for buying and NPR 97.29 for selling.

The Qatari Rial is valued at NPR 36.76 for buying and NPR 36.92 for selling. The Saudi Arabian Riyal is set at NPR 35.70 for buying and NPR 35.86 for selling.

Finally, the UAE Dirham is trading at NPR 36.49 for buying and NPR 36.65 for selling, and the Malaysian Ringgit is priced at NPR 29.96 for buying and NPR 30.09 for selling.
