The Nepal Association of Tour & Travel Agents (NATTA) has expanded its Executive Board with the appointment of two tourism entrepreneurs, Mobin Udash of Muskan Travels & Tours Pvt. Ltd. and Ishwar Prasad Upadhyay of Global Vacation Travels & Tours Pvt. Ltd., as new Executive Members. The formal induction took place on October 4, 2026, during Nepal Association of Tour & Travel Agents’s 5th Executive Board Meeting held at the association’s secretariat in Kathmandu.

Appointment certificates handed over
NATTA President Bharat Jung Pandey formally handed over the appointment certificates to Udash and Upadhyay during the board meeting. Both newly appointed Executive Members also took the oath of office and confidentiality during the meeting, formally assuming their responsibilities as members of the NATTA Executive Board. Their appointment adds further representation from the private travel and tourism sector to Nepal Association of Tour & Travel Agents’s executive leadership at a time when the industry is seeking greater coordination, institutional strengthening and new opportunities for growth.

New members to contribute to travel trade
Udash represents Muskan Travels & Tours, while Upadhyay brings executive representation from Global Vacation Travels & Tours. NATTA said the appointment of the two tourism entrepreneurs is expected to strengthen the association’s leadership and support its efforts to address issues facing Nepal’s travel trade. The association also expressed confidence that their industry experience, active participation and professional engagement would contribute to institutional development and the broader interests of tourism businesses.

Welcoming the new Executive Members, NATTA extended its best wishes to both Udash and Upadhyay and expressed expectations of their active contribution to the association’s activities. Their induction comes at a time when Nepal’s tourism industry is focusing on revitalising the sector, expanding international market opportunities and strengthening cooperation among travel and tourism stakeholders. NATTA said the new board members would play a role in strengthening the association and supporting the sustainable growth and development of Nepal’s travel and tourism industry.
