Emirates Expands A350 Flights to Vietnam, Bringing Premium Economy to Hanoi

Emirates is expanding its Airbus A350 operations in Vietnam, upgrading services to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and introducing its Premium Economy cabin on flights to the Vietnamese capital. The changes will bring the airline’s latest aircraft to all four daily flights connecting Dubai with Vietnam’s two major aviation gateways by December 1, 2026.

The expansion will begin in Ho Chi Minh City on November 1, when Emirates introduces a second daily A350 service on flights EK364/365. From December 1, the airline will deploy the A350 on both daily services between Dubai and Hanoi, operating as flights EK394/395 and EK388/389. The move strengthens Emirates’ passenger offering in Vietnam and provides travelers with a more consistent onboard experience across the airline’s services to the country.

Emirates Expands A350 Services Across Vietnam

The updated schedule marks another step in Emirates’ investment in the Vietnamese market. By December 1, all four daily flights connecting Dubai with Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City will be operated by the airline’s Airbus A350 aircraft, offering passengers access to its newer cabin products and onboard services.

According to Wahid Albalooshi, Emirates’ Country Manager for Vietnam, the expansion builds on the airline’s recent development in the country. Emirates launched services to Da Nang in 2025, extending its presence across three Vietnamese gateways. The latest aircraft deployment is intended to provide a more consistent travel experience for passengers flying between Vietnam and Dubai, as well as those connecting onward to other destinations across the Emirates network.

Premium Economy and Updated Cabin Features

The A350 introduction in Hanoi will bring Emirates’ Premium Economy cabin to the route, giving passengers another option between Economy and Business Class. The cabin features leather reclining seats, adjustable headrests, additional legroom, in-seat charging points, and individual 13.3-inch entertainment screens. Passengers also receive enhanced onboard amenities, with complimentary amenity kits available on selected flights.

Emirates’ A350 accommodates 298 passengers across three cabins: Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy Class. Business Class features a 1-2-1 seating layout, providing every passenger with direct aisle access, fully lie flat seats, personal minibars and wireless charging. Economy Class includes 13.3 inch 4K touchscreen entertainment systems, lighter interior finishes and leather headrests designed to support passenger comfort.

A350 Enhances the Passenger Experience

The aircraft’s interior has been designed with a bright, spacious atmosphere, combining lighter colours, contemporary finishes and updated entertainment technology. Across the cabins, Emirates aims to provide passengers with a consistent onboard product while serving both short and long haul connecting journeys through Dubai.

The expanded A350 deployment may also benefit travelers connecting through Emirates’ Dubai hub to destinations across its international network. With the same aircraft type operating all four daily Dubai Vietnam services by December, passengers will have broader access to the airline’s newer cabin products on these routes. Tickets are available through the airline’s official website, Emirates App and travel agents.

Emirates Strengthens Connectivity Between Vietnam and Dubai

Emirates serves Vietnam through Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang, connecting the country with Dubai and onward destinations throughout its network. The additional A350 operation in Ho Chi Minh City and the planned aircraft upgrade in Hanoi reinforce the airline’s presence in a market important to both business and leisure travel.

The airline also advises Vietnamese travelers that some passengers may qualify for a UAE visa on arrival, subject to specific eligibility requirements. These may include holders of qualifying residence permits issued by certain countries or valid visas from the United States, United Kingdom or Schengen countries, as well as US Green Card holders. Travelers should check the latest official UAE entry requirements before departure, as conditions apply.
