The second edition of the Nepal Hospitality Conclave has officially commenced in Kathmandu. This national-level conference, organized by the Hotel Association of Nepal, aims to develop and promote the country’s hospitality sector.
Held in celebration of World Tourism Day, the two-day event brings together over 200 participants, including hotel operators, investors, policymakers, regulators, experts, and leaders from various national and international hotels operating in Nepal, as well as service providers and other stakeholders related to the hospitality industry.
During the inauguration, Vinayak Shah, President of the Hotel Association of Nepal, expressed confidence that the event would serve as a platform for the exchange of knowledge, skills, strategies, and ideas in the hospitality sector. He emphasized the importance of leveraging hotel and tourism infrastructure to gain commercial benefits.
The conclave will feature discussions on topics such as the current state of hotels in Nepal, challenges and issues faced by the hospitality industry, emerging trends and practices, innovation, collaboration, information technology, digital marketing, and partnerships, according to the organizers.
Jointly organized by Hotel Association Nepal, Winstock Asia Nepal, Watercom, and Nepal Traveler, the conclave is expected to develop strategies for the future growth of the hospitality and hotel industry. The key outcomes of the discussions will be compiled into a white paper, which will be presented to the government and relevant authorities, as stated by the Hotel Association of Nepal.
