The weather across Nepal remains variable today, with cloudy skies prevailing in the eastern regions. According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the hilly areas of Koshi, Madhes, and Bagmati Provinces are experiencing partial cloud cover. At the same time, the rest of the country enjoys mostly clear weather.
Light rainfall has already been reported in some areas of Koshi Province due to the lingering effects of monsoon winds in the region.
This afternoon, the weather is expected to remain mostly cloudy in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, with clear skies in other regions. Light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, may occur in a few places across Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, and Gandaki Provinces, with isolated rain expected in other provinces.
Later tonight, conditions are forecasted to be partly to mostly cloudy nationwide, with a continued chance of light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorms in Koshi, Madhes, Bagmati, Gandaki, and Lumbini Provinces, as well as isolated areas in other regions.
