The newly opened Airport Budget Hotel is now operational, offering convenient and affordable accommodations just a minute’s walk from Tribhuvan International Airport. The hotel, which officially opened last Paush (December), aims to serve both domestic and international visitors.
Located in a prime spot near the airport, the hotel features a restaurant and bar serving a variety of Nepali, Indian, and Thakali cuisine. Guests can enjoy a comfortable stay in one of the 23 super deluxe rooms, which are equipped with essential amenities.
The hotel was established with an investment of 25 million rupees by businessman Basudeb Neupane, who expressed confidence that it will fill a critical gap in the market, where there is a shortage of quality hotels near the airport. Neupane believes that the hotel will offer a much-needed solution for travelers seeking affordable accommodations with good services and facilities.
In addition to its proximity to the airport, the hotel is also conveniently located just 5 minutes away from the Pashupatinath Temple, one of Nepal’s most significant cultural and religious sites.
Neupane emphasized the importance of further investment and local government initiatives to establish more comfortable, budget-friendly hotels in the area, which he believes will help improve the overall hotel industry and attract more tourists to Nepal.
