The market opened at 2,590.14 and exhibited fluctuations throughout the day, peaking at an intraday high of 2,604.01 and dipping to a low of 2,580.01 before closing on a positive note.
In contrast, the Hotel and Tourism Index experienced a slight decline, shedding 5.38 points (0.08%) to close at 6,640.58. This decline follows a significant loss of 15.30 points in the previous session.
The index began the session at 6,645.96, fluctuating between an intraday high of 6,659.15 and a low of 6,591.08 before settling marginally lower.
The mixed performance highlights ongoing market volatility, with NEPSE demonstrating resilience while the Hotel and Tourism sector faced continued pressure.
