The Dongguan Laoyu Club from China emerged victorious, claiming titles in both the 200-meter and 500-meter race categories. Along with the double titles, the team won a cash prize of USD 10,000.

The event, aimed at strengthening cultural and grassroots relations between Nepal and China while promoting Nepal’s tourism, saw China’s Yunnan Minzu University and Liaocheng University secure second and third places, respectively, in the 200-meter category. Yunnan Province’s Normal University finished fourth.

In the 500-meter race, Liaocheng University took second place, while Wuhan University claimed the third spot. Winners in both race categories were awarded trophies, medals, certificates, and cash prizes of USD 5,000. The runners-up received USD 2,000, and the third-place teams were awarded USD 1,200. All participating teams were also given USD 500 as a participation prize.

The event featured 20 teams, including eight from China, one from Singapore, and 11 from Nepal. The races were jointly organized by Gandaki Province, Pokhara Metropolitan City, the Chinese Embassy in Nepal, and the Nepal Tourism Board.
