The Chief Minister of Koshi Province, Hikmat Karki, has urged everyone to gear up for the preparations for “Koshi Province Tourism Year 2082.”
Speaking at a meeting held today as part of the preparations for Tourism Year 2082 at the Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve, located in Koshi Rural Municipality-3 of Sunsari, Chief Minister Karki discussed the potential tourist destinations.
He informed us that the main organizing committee meeting has decided to focus on preparations for Koshi Province Tourism Year 2082 to attract both domestic and foreign tourists. He emphasized that the meeting was held to make the campaign meaningful and effective.
The meeting was attended by Province Speaker Ambar Bahadur Bista, Deputy Speaker Srijana Danuwar, Provincial Ministers Sadananda Mandal, Ekaraj Karki, Bhupendra Rai, high-ranking officials, stakeholders, and representatives from the tourism sector. The meeting decided to develop a sustainable plan under the “Koshi Province Tourism Year 2082 Operation and Management Procedure, 2081” to promote tourism in the region.
