Gautam Buddha International Airport Records Impressive 6,879 Passengers

A total of 6,879 passengers traveled through Gautam Buddha International Airport in February.

According to the airport’s general manager, Pratap Babu Tiwari, these passengers arrived and departed through a total of 115 flights. Among them, 2,403 passengers traveled via Fly Dubai, 3,265 via Jazeera Airways, and 1,097 via Thai AirAsia.

Additionally, Nepal Airlines operated one flight, while 13 chartered flights carried a total of 211 passengers. The airport office also reported that 4,040 transit passengers traveled through Nepal Airlines and Fly Dubai, connecting via Tribhuvan International Airport.

General Manager Tiwari stated that the airport has been handling regular flights, which has contributed to making it more active and operational.
