However, amidst the overall market uptick, the hotel and tourism sector experienced a marginal setback. The Hotel and Tourism Index decreased by 11.19 points, or 0.21%, finishing the day at 5,243.65 points. This decline contrasts with the sector’s recent struggles, having lost 58.74 points in the preceding trading period.
The trading day was characterized by significant volatility, with the market opening at 5,254.85 points. Throughout the day, fluctuations were observed, ranging from an intraday low of 5,232.47 points to an intraday high of 5,295.66 points.
