Hotel Sabrina Limited to Issue IPO to Fund Five-Star Upgrade

Hotel Sabrina Limited, located in Budhanilkantha, Kathmandu, has announced plans to issue an Initial Public Offering (IPO) as part of its strategy to elevate the hotel to five-star standards. The decision was made during the company’s sixth annual general meeting, with the IPO expected to raise NPR 15 crore through the issuance of 15 lakh shares to the public.

The funds raised will be used to upgrade the hotel’s facilities, expand room capacity, and settle existing loans. Currently, Hotel Sabrina operates with 60 rooms, including apartment-style accommodations, but plans are in place to increase capacity as part of its expansion efforts.

Hotel Sabrina has an authorized capital of NPR 90 crore and a paid-up capital of NPR 35 crore 65 lakhs. NMB Capital has been appointed as the issue manager for the IPO, and the process awaits approval from the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON).

Despite being operational for only three years, Hotel Sabrina gained notable recognition when it was named the “Best Hotel in Nepal 2021.” The hotel operates under the “Regenta Place” brand, managed by Royal Orchid Hotels, a renowned hospitality group.

The planned upgrade to five-star status is expected to strengthen Nepal’s luxury tourism sector by attracting high-end travelers and contributing significantly to the local economy.

This initiative highlights Hotel Sabrina’s commitment to supporting Nepal’s tourism development and enhancing the overall guest experience through world-class amenities.
