Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police, Kunjang Chopel Sherpa, has successfully climbed Lobuche Peak. She is part of a team preparing to climb Mount Everest, the world’s highest peak. Inspector General of Police, Deepak Thapa, and the police family congratulated her on her successful Lobuche summit and extended best wishes for her Everest expedition.
She is currently serving at the Nepal Police Headquarters’ Cyber Bureau. On Chaitra 25 (April 7), IGP Thapa bid her farewell during a program at the headquarters by handing over a banner with the slogan against gender-based violence.
