The event is being financially supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Bagmati Province, along with the Nepal Tourism Board and the Provincial Sports Development Council. Organizers believe this multi-agency collaboration will help position the Langtang Trail Run as a long-term international sporting event, similar to established global trail running competitions.
