A procession has been held in the Pashupati area on the occasion of Mahashivaratri. Organized by the Pashupati Area Development Trust, the procession started from the western gate in front of the Pashupatinath Temple, inaugurated by Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation, Badri Prasad Pandey.
The procession passed through Bhuvaneshwari Chowk, Chaar Shivala, Pingalasthan, Gaushala, Jayabageshwari, Sifal, Lampokhari, Chabahil Ganeshsthan, Chabahil Chowk, Mitrapark, and Umakunda, concluding back at Bhuvaneshwari Chowk.
Minister Pandey was joined by State Minister Arun Kumar Chaudhary, Secretary Binod Prakash Singh, the Trust’s Member Secretary Dr. Milan Kumar Thapa, Treasurer Narayan Prasad Subedi, members of the Trust’s Board of Directors, Trust staff, representatives from local organizations, and saints.
