Hotel businesses in Nagarkot have announced a 10% discount for tourists starting from the upcoming Visit Nagarkot Year 2082, beginning on Baishakh 1. This announcement was made during a meeting in Changu Narayan Municipality with local mayors and representatives.
The Changu Narayan Mayor, Jeevan Khatri, emphasized that businesses must create packages and ensure tourists’ comfort to make Visit Year a success. Local businesses and residents are encouraged to contribute to cleanliness and hospitality.
The municipality has already initiated the tender process to pave the road from Nagarkot to Kamalbinayak for infrastructure improvements.
The Visit Year will be a joint effort from four municipalities, including Changu Narayan, Mandandeupur, Banepa, and Shankharapur, with investments in physical infrastructure and tourism development. The focus will also be on providing affordable packages for domestic and international tourists. The inauguration of the Visit Year will take place at the newly constructed venue, and the tourism committee will continue discussions on future plans.
