Tourists visiting Shuklaphanta National Park in Kanchanpur can receive free nature guides as part of the Tourism Festival organized by Bhimdatta Municipality to promote the park. Rajendra KC, coordinator of the tourism development committee, explained that the festival aims to attract tourists and establish Shuklaphanta as a desirable destination.

During the festival, the first 100 vehicles, both private and safari, will also receive free entry. Hotel entrepreneurs emphasized the need for increased promotion to attract both domestic and international tourists. The festival is expected to help develop Shuklaphanta as a prime destination, showcasing its unique wildlife, including rare species like the sarus crane and one-horned rhinoceros.

The National Park, covering an area of 305 square kilometers, is renowned for its significant population of swamp deer and its vast grasslands. The park is home to over 2,200 swamp deer, along with various other wildlife species, making it a popular spot for tourists interested in nature and wildlife observation.
