Nepal Hosts B2B Networking Event at BTTF 2025

The Embassy of Nepal and the Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), in collaboration with the Nepal Association of Tour & Travel Agents (NATTA), jointly hosted a B2B Networking Event this evening on the sidelines of the 13th Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair (BTTF) 2025, organized by TOAB in Dhaka from October 30 to November 1, 2025.

Ambassador Highlights Nepal-Bangladesh Friendship

Speaking at the event, Ambassador Ghanashyam Bhandari emphasized the long-standing friendship between Nepal and Bangladesh, rooted in shared cultural and historical ties. He underscored the pivotal role of tourism in further strengthening bilateral relations and urged travel entrepreneurs from both countries to forge meaningful partnerships to promote people-to-people connectivity.

Nepal Showcases Tourism Products and Cultural Heritage

Mr. Sunil Sharma, Head of Public Relations & Publicity at NTB, delivered a detailed presentation highlighting it’s diverse tourism products, ranging from trekking and adventure tourism to cultural, heritage, and eco-tourism offerings.

The evening also featured with folk cultural performances, giving attendees a glimpse of the country’s rich cultural heritage. A raffle draw was held, offering exclusive holiday packages sponsored by participating tour and travel agencies, adding an interactive and engaging element to the event.

B2B and Networking Sessions Strengthen Industry Ties

Following the formal ceremony, B2B networking sessions were conducted between travel and tour entrepreneurs from Nepal and Bangladesh. Representatives of travel agencies, tour operators, hoteliers, airlines, and other key stakeholders from Bangladesh’s tourism and hospitality sectors actively participated, exploring collaborative opportunities and potential business partnerships.

The sessions provided a platform for dialogue, enabling both countries’ tourism professionals to discuss joint promotional activities, cross-border travel packages, and marketing strategies to enhance tourism flows with Bangladesh.

Nepal’s Delegation at BTTF 2025

It is participating in BTTF 2025 with a 16-member delegation led by the NTB, including representatives from NATTA, the tour operators, travel agencies, and hoteliers. The delegation aims to promote it as a premier travel destination, strengthen business networks, and explore potential collaborations in the regional tourism market.

Officials highlighted that events like these not only boost tourism promotion but also contribute to economic growth by encouraging cross-border travel, investment in the tourism sector, and cultural exchange between the two countries.
