Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the latest foreign exchange rates for today, setting the benchmark for currency transactions across financial institutions in the country. The central bank has emphasized that these rates are subject to change as per market fluctuations.
According to NRB, the exchange rate for the US dollar (USD) has been set at NPR 136.96 for buying and NPR 137.56 for selling. The Euro (EUR) is valued at NPR 147.70 for buying and NPR 148.35 for selling, while the British Pound Sterling (GBP) stands at NPR 177.18 for buying and NPR 177.95 for selling. The Swiss Franc (CHF) has been fixed at NPR 154.98 for buying and NPR 155.66 for selling.
Similarly, the exchange rate for the Australian Dollar (AUD) is NPR 86.46 for buying and NPR 86.83 for selling, while the Canadian Dollar (CAD) is set at NPR 95.88 for buying and NPR 96.30 for selling. The Singapore Dollar (SGD) is valued at NPR 102.26 for buying and NPR 102.71 for selling.
In terms of Asian currencies, the Japanese Yen (JPY) per 10 units is valued at NPR 9.08 for buying and NPR 9.12 for selling, whereas the Chinese Yuan (CNY) is set at NPR 18.85 for buying and NPR 18.94 for selling. The Saudi Arabian Riyal (SAR) stands at NPR 36.51 for buying and NPR 36.67 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal (QAR) is listed at NPR 37.57 for buying and NPR 37.74 for selling.
Other currencies include the Thai Baht (THB) at NPR 4.05 for buying and NPR 4.06 for selling, the UAE Dirham (AED) at NPR 37.29 for buying and NPR 37.45 for selling, and the Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) at NPR 30.91 for buying and NPR 31.04 for selling. The South Korean Won (KRW) per 100 units has been fixed at NPR 9.35 for buying and NPR 9.39 for selling. Additionally, the Swedish Kroner (SEK) is valued at NPR 13.66 for buying and NPR 13.72 for selling, whereas the Danish Kroner (DKK) is NPR 19.80 for buying and NPR 19.89 for selling.
The Hong Kong Dollar (HKD) has been set at NPR 17.61 for buying and NPR 17.69 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar (KWD) holds a high exchange rate, standing at NPR 444.06 for buying and NPR 446.00 for selling. Similarly, the Bahraini Dinar (BHD) is valued at NPR 363.27 for buying and NPR 364.86 for selling. The Omani Riyal (OMR) has been set at NPR 355.76 for buying and NPR 357.32 for selling. For Indian Rupees (INR), Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the exchange rate for 100 Indian Rupees at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
