Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign exchange rates for today, reflecting an increase in the value of major international currencies, including the US Dollar, Euro, British Pound Sterling, and Swiss Franc.
According to NRB, the buying rate for one US Dollar is set at NPR 139.67, while the selling rate stands at NPR 140.27. The Euro’s buying rate is NPR 144.33, with a selling rate of NPR 144.95. Similarly, the buying and selling rates for the British Pound Sterling are NPR 173.41 and NPR 174.15, respectively, while the Swiss Franc is valued at NPR 153.54 for buying and NPR 154.20 for selling.
In addition, the Australian Dollar is being traded at NPR 87.74 (buying) and NPR 88.12 (selling), whereas the Canadian Dollar stands at NPR 97.43 (buying) and NPR 97.84 (selling). The exchange rate for the Singapore Dollar has been fixed at NPR 103.23 (buying) and NPR 103.67 (selling).
For Asian currencies, the Japanese Yen (per 10 units) is trading at NPR 9.18 (buying) and NPR 9.22 (selling), while the Chinese Yuan stands at NPR 19.12 (buying) and NPR 19.20 (selling). The Saudi Arabian Riyal is valued at NPR 37.24 (buying) and NPR 37.40 (selling), with the Qatari Riyal trading at NPR 38.31 (buying) and NPR 38.47 (selling).
Among other key currencies, the Thai Baht is set at NPR 4.12 (buying) and NPR 4.14 (selling), the UAE Dirham at NPR 38.03 (buying) and NPR 38.19 (selling), and the Malaysian Ringgit at NPR 31.25 (buying) and NPR 31.38 (selling). South Korean Won (per 100 units) is being exchanged at NPR 9.64 (buying) and NPR 9.68 (selling), while the Swedish Kroner is at NPR 12.81 (buying) and NPR 12.86 (selling). The Danish Kroner is priced at NPR 19.35 (buying) and NPR 19.43 (selling).
Additionally, the Hong Kong Dollar has been set at NPR 17.93 (buying) and NPR 18.01 (selling). The Kuwaiti Dinar, one of the highest-valued currencies, stands at NPR 452.33 (buying) and NPR 454.27 (selling). Similarly, the Bahraini Dinar is valued at NPR 370.52 (buying) and NPR 372.11 (selling), while the Omani Riyal trades at NPR 362.77 (buying) and NPR 364.32 (selling).
The Indian Rupee is exchanged at NPR 160.00 (buying) and NPR 160.15 (selling) per 100 units.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to change at any time as per market requirements. Additionally, commercial banks may set slightly different exchange rates, and the updated rates can be accessed on the official NRB website.
