It has also stated that commercial banks may adopt slightly different rates while conducting foreign exchange transactions. The announcement of daily foreign exchange rates serves as a crucial financial indicator that guides the monetary policy direction of the country. It also supports travelers, importers, students studying abroad, and remittance-dependent families by offering clarity on currency conversions. As foreign exchange reserves and international trade continue to play a vital role in Nepal’s economy, such updates from the central bank help foster financial stability and informed decision-making in both the public and private sectors.
