Nepal Rastra Bank Releases Exchange Rates for Wednesday

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign exchange rates for Wednesday, highlighting a mixed trend in currency values. The rates indicate an increase in the value of currencies such as the US Dollar, Chinese Yuan, Saudi Arabian Riyal, UAE Dirham, Malaysian Ringgit, South Korean Won, Kuwaiti Dinar, Bahraini Dinar, and Omani Riyal. However, currencies like the Euro, Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, and Japanese Yen have seen a decline in their rates.

According to NRB, the buying rate for one US Dollar is NPR 135.47, while the selling rate is NPR 136.07. Similarly, one Euro is set at a buying rate of NPR 142.68 and a selling rate of NPR 143.32, and the British Pound Sterling is at a buying rate of NPR 172.89 and a selling rate of NPR 173.66. The Swiss Franc is priced at NPR 153.97 for buying and NPR 154.65 for selling.

The Australian Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 86.65 and a selling rate of NPR 87.03, while the Canadian Dollar is priced at NPR 95.62 for buying and NPR 96.04 for selling. The Singapore Dollar has a buying rate of NPR 101.04 and a selling rate of NPR 101.49.

The Japanese Yen is priced at NPR 8.93 for buying and NPR 8.97 for selling for every 10 units, while the Chinese Yuan stands at NPR 18.67 for buying and NPR 18.76 for selling. The Saudi Arabian Riyal is priced at NPR 36.06 for buying and NPR 36.22 for selling, and the Qatari Riyal at NPR 37.16 for buying and NPR 37.33 for selling.

Other currencies include the Thai Baht at NPR 4.02 for buying and NPR 4.03 for selling, the UAE Dirham at NPR 36.88 for buying and NPR 37.03 for selling, and the Malaysian Ringgit at NPR 30.59 for buying and NPR 30.73 for selling. The South Korean Won is priced at NPR 9.47 for buying and NPR 9.51 for selling per 100 units.

Additionally, the Hong Kong Dollar is set at NPR 17.42 for buying and NPR 17.50 for selling. High-value currencies such as the Kuwaiti Dinar are priced at NPR 440.51 for buying and NPR 442.46 for selling, the Bahraini Dinar at NPR 359.03 for buying and NPR 360.62 for selling, and the Omani Riyal at NPR 351.87 for buying and NPR 353.43 for selling.

The Indian Rupee, pegged at 1.6 NPR per INR, is priced at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling per 100 units.

NRB has clarified that these rates may be revised at any time based on market requirements. Commercial banks may set different exchange rates, and the latest rates are always available on the NRB’s official website.
