Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the official foreign exchange rates for today, setting the buying and selling rates of major international currencies.
As per NRB, the exchange rate for one US dollar stands at NPR 138.17 for buying and NPR 138.77 for selling. Similarly, the Euro is valued at NPR 143.78 for buying and NPR 144.40 for selling, while the British Pound Sterling is set at NPR 171.63 for buying and NPR 172.37 for selling. The Swiss Franc is being traded at NPR 152.51 for buying and NPR 153.17 for selling.
Among other major currencies, the Australian Dollar is fixed at NPR 86.06 for buying and NPR 86.43 for selling, while the Canadian Dollar is exchanged at NPR 95.81 for buying and NPR 96.32 for selling. The Singapore Dollar stands at NPR 102.29 for buying and NPR 102.33 for selling.
In the Asian market, 10 Japanese Yen is valued at NPR 8.89 for buying and NPR 8.93 for selling. The Chinese Yuan is fixed at NPR 19.05 for buying and NPR 19.14 for selling. Similarly, one Saudi Arabian Riyal is exchanged at NPR 36.84 for buying and NPR 37.00 for selling, whereas one Qatari Riyal stands at NPR 37.90 for buying and NPR 38.06 for selling.
The exchange rate for one Thai Baht is set at NPR 4.10 for buying and NPR 4.11 for selling, while one UAE Dirham is valued at NPR 37.62 for buying and NPR 37.78 for selling. The Malaysian Ringgit is traded at NPR 31.45 for buying and NPR 31.59 for selling.
Other notable currency rates include 100 South Korean Won at NPR 9.56 for buying and NPR 9.60 for selling, one Swedish Krona at NPR 12.55 for buying and NPR 12.61 for selling, and one Danish Krone at NPR 19.27 for buying and NPR 19.35 for selling.
Meanwhile, one Hong Kong Dollar is set at NPR 17.74 for buying and NPR 17.81 for selling. Among Middle Eastern currencies, the Kuwaiti Dinar stands at NPR 447.88 for buying and NPR 449.82 for selling, while the Bahraini Dinar is at NPR 366.50 for buying and NPR 368.09 for selling. The Omani Riyal is valued at NPR 358.88 for buying and NPR 360.44 for selling.
For regional transactions, 100 Indian Rupees are being exchanged at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates are subject to change as per market fluctuations. Commercial banks may offer slightly different rates, and the latest updated exchange rates can be accessed on the NRB’s official website.
