Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign exchange rates for today, reflecting fluctuations in several key currencies. According to the new rates, the value of the US Dollar, Swiss Franc, Singapore Dollar, Bahraini Dinar, and Omani Rial has increased, while the Euro and Swiss Franc have seen a decline.
The exchange rate for the US Dollar is set at NPR 135.22 for buying and NPR 135.82 for selling. The Euro is priced at NPR 142.34 for buying and NPR 142.97 for selling, while the British Pound stands at NPR 171.93 for buying and NPR 172.69 for selling. Similarly, the Swiss Franc is priced at NPR 152.73 for buying and NPR 153.41 for selling.
Other notable rates include the Australian Dollar at NPR 87.83 for buying and NPR 88.22 for selling, Canadian Dollar at NPR 96.37 for buying and NPR 96.80 for selling, and Singapore Dollar at NPR 100.53 for buying and NPR 101.98 for selling. The Japanese Yen (10 units) is at NPR 9.00 for buying and NPR 9.04 for selling, while the Chinese Yuan is set at NPR 18.59 for buying and NPR 18.67 for selling.
Among Middle Eastern currencies, the Saudi Arabian Riyal is priced at NPR 35.99 for buying and NPR 36.15 for selling, Qatari Riyal at NPR 37.08 for buying and NPR 37.24 for selling, and UAE Dirham at NPR 36.81 for buying and NPR 36.98 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar stands at NPR 440.00 for buying and NPR 441.24 for selling, Bahraini Dinar at NPR 358.65 for buying and NPR 360.24 for selling, and Omani Rial at NPR 351.23 for buying and NPR 352.79 for selling.
Other Asian currencies like the Thai Baht are set at NPR 3.93 for buying and NPR 3.94 for selling, Malaysian Ringgit at NPR 30.32 for buying and NPR 30.45 for selling, and South Korean Won (100 units) at NPR 9.63 for buying and NPR 9.67 for selling. The exchange rate for the Indian Rupee stands at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
European currencies such as the Swedish Krona and Danish Krona are priced at NPR 12.34 for buying and NPR 12.39 for selling, and NPR 19.09 for buying and NPR 19.17 for selling, respectively. The Hong Kong Dollar is priced at NPR 17.38 for buying and NPR 17.46 for selling.
