Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the exchange rates for foreign currencies for Friday. According to the new rates, the values of several currencies, including the US Dollar, Swiss Franc, Singapore Dollar, Saudi Arabian Riyal, Chinese Yuan, Qatari Rial, UAE Dirham, Malaysian Ringgit, Swedish Krona, Danish Krone, Hong Kong Dollar, Kuwaiti Dinar, Bahrain Dinar, and Omani Rial, have increased. However, the exchange rates for the Euro, UK Pound Sterling, Australian Dollar, and South Korean Won have decreased.
The central bank has set the buying rate for the US Dollar at NPR 136.13 and the selling rate at NPR 136.73. The Euro’s buying rate is NPR 141.58, and the selling rate is NPR 142.21. For the UK Pound Sterling, the buying rate is NPR 170.58, and the selling rate is NPR 171.34. The Swiss Franc’s buying rate is NPR 151.27, and the selling rate is NPR 151.94.
Other notable rates include the Australian Dollar at NPR 84.85 (buying) and NPR 85.22 (selling), Canadian Dollar at NPR 94.64 (buying) and NPR 95.06 (selling), and Singapore Dollar at NPR 100.23 (buying) and NPR 100.67 (selling). Additionally, the Japanese Yen is set at NPR 8.64 (buying) and NPR 8.68 (selling), while the Chinese Yuan’s rates are NPR 18.65 (buying) and NPR 18.73 (selling).
Rates for other currencies like the Saudi Riyal, Qatari Rial, Thai Baht, UAE Dirham, Malaysian Ringgit, South Korean Won, Swedish Krona, and Danish Krone have also been determined, with slight increases or decreases across the board. The buying and selling rates for these currencies are available on the central bank’s website.
Nepal Rastra Bank has noted that these exchange rates may be revised at any time based on market needs. Commercial banks may set different exchange rates, and the most up-to-date rates can be found on the central bank’s official website.
