Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign exchange rates for Thursday. According to the central bank, the buying rate for 1 US dollar is set at NPR 136.03, while the selling rate is NPR 136.63. The buying and selling rates for 1 Euro are NPR 141.64 and NPR 142.27, respectively, and for 1 UK Pound Sterling, the rates are NPR 170.72 and NPR 171.47. Similarly, the buying and selling rates for 1 Swiss Franc are NPR 151.19 and NPR 151.85.
For the Australian Dollar, the buying rate is NPR 84.89, and the selling rate is NPR 85.26. The Canadian Dollar stands at NPR 94.70 (buying) and NPR 95.11 (selling). The Singapore Dollar’s rates are NPR 100.18 (buying) and NPR 100.63 (selling).
The exchange rates for other currencies include 10 Japanese Yen at NPR 8.65 (buying) and NPR 8.68 (selling), 1 Chinese Yuan at NPR 18.64 (buying) and NPR 18.72 (selling), and 1 Saudi Arabian Riyal at NPR 36.23 (buying) and NPR 36.39 (selling). The Qatari Riyal is priced at NPR 37.32 (buying) and NPR 37.49 (selling).
Additionally, 1 Thai Baht is valued at NPR 3.98 (buying) and NPR 4.00 (selling), while 1 UAE Dirham is set at NPR 37.04 (buying) and NPR 37.20 (selling). The rates for 1 Malaysian Ringgit are NPR 30.32 (buying) and NPR 30.45 (selling).
For 100 South Korean Won, the rates are NPR 9.33 (buying) and NPR 9.38 (selling). The Swedish Kroner is valued at NPR 12.27 (buying) and NPR 12.33 (selling), while the Danish Kroner stands at NPR 18.96 (buying) and NPR 19.05 (selling).
Other notable rates include 1 Hong Kong Dollar at NPR 17.51 (buying) and NPR 17.59 (selling), 1 Kuwaiti Dinar at NPR 441.51 (buying) and NPR 443.46 (selling), 1 Bahraini Dinar at NPR 360.44 (buying) and NPR 362.02 (selling), and 1 Omani Riyal at NPR 353.31 (buying) and NPR 354.86 (selling).
Finally, the exchange rate for 100 Indian Rupees is set at NPR 160.00 (buying) and NPR 160.15 (selling).
The central bank has stated that these rates can be revised at any time if needed. It also noted that the rates determined by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
