Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rate for Saturday, reflecting an increase in the value of both the US dollar and the euro compared to Friday. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is now set at NPR 134.71, while the selling rate is NPR 135.31. On Friday, the rates were NPR 134.70 for buying and NPR 135.30 for selling.
Similarly, one euro is priced at NPR 145.42 for buying and NPR 146.07 for selling on Saturday, up from Friday’s rates of NPR 144.94 and NPR 145.59, respectively.
Other exchange rates include the British pound, which is set at NPR 174.77 for buying and NPR 175.54 for selling. The Swiss franc stands at NPR 154.78 for buying and NPR 155.47 for selling. The Australian dollar is listed at NPR 89.47 for buying and NPR 89.87 for selling, while the Canadian dollar rates are set at NPR 97.02 for buying and NPR 97.45 for selling.
The Singapore dollar is priced at NPR 101.98 for buying and NPR 102.44 for selling. For the Japanese yen, ten units are valued at NPR 8.85 for buying and NPR 8.89 for selling. Meanwhile, the Chinese yuan stands at NPR 18.80 for buying and NPR 18.89 for selling. The Saudi riyal is valued at NPR 35.87 for buying and NPR 36.03 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is set at NPR 36.95 for buying and NPR 37.12 for selling.
The Thai baht is listed at NPR 3.96 for buying and NPR 3.98 for selling. The UAE dirham’s rates are NPR 36.68 for buying and NPR 36.84 for selling, while the Malaysian ringgit stands at NPR 30.74 for buying and NPR 30.88 for selling. The South Korean won, priced at one hundred units, is listed at NPR 9.72 for buying and NPR 9.76 for selling. The Swedish krona is at NPR 12.57 for buying and NPR 12.63 for selling, and the Danish krone is valued at NPR 19.50 for buying and NPR 19.59 for selling.
For the Hong Kong dollar, the buying rate is NPR 17.33 and the selling rate is NPR 17.41. The Kuwaiti dinar is valued at NPR 439.42 for buying and NPR 441.38 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar stands at NPR 357.33 for buying and NPR 358.92 for selling. The exchange rate for one hundred Indian rupees remains at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has noted that these rates may be updated as needed and that commercial banks may set slightly different exchange rates. Updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
