Nepal Rastra Bank has announced the foreign exchange rates for today, indicating fluctuations in the value of various currencies compared to Monday. The rates show a decline in the value of the US Dollar, Australian Dollar, Canadian Dollar, Singapore Dollar, Chinese Yuan, Saudi Arabian Riyal, Thai Baht, Hong Kong Dollar, and Omani Riyal. Conversely, the Euro, UK Pound Sterling, Swiss Franc, and Swedish Kroner have appreciated.
The buying rate for one US Dollar is set at NPR 134.57, while the selling rate is NPR 135.17. For the Euro, the buying and selling rates are NPR 141.08 and NPR 141.71, respectively, and the UK Pound Sterling is NPR 169.20 and NPR 169.96. The Swiss Franc is listed at NPR 151.22 (buying) and NPR 151.89 (selling).
Similarly, the Australian Dollar stands at NPR 87.57 (buying) and NPR 87.96 (selling), and the Canadian Dollar at NPR 96.35 (buying) and NPR 96.78 (selling). The Singapore Dollar is valued at NPR 99.92 (buying) and NPR 100.37 (selling).
Among Asian currencies, 10 Japanese Yen trade at NPR 8.71 (buying) and NPR 8.75 (selling), and one Chinese Yuan at NPR 18.58 (buying) and NPR 18.66 (selling). The Saudi Arabian Riyal is NPR 35.84 (buying) and NPR 36.00 (selling), while the Qatari Riyal is set at NPR 36.97 (buying) and NPR 37.13 (selling).
Other notable rates include the Thai Baht at NPR 3.89 (buying) and NPR 3.91 (selling), UAE Dirham at NPR 36.64 (buying) and NPR 36.80 (selling), Malaysian Ringgit at NPR 30.23 (buying) and NPR 30.36 (selling), South Korean Won at NPR 9.60 (buying) and NPR 9.64 (selling), Swedish Kroner at NPR 12.25 (buying) and NPR 12.30 (selling), and Danish Kroner at NPR 18.91 (buying) and NPR 19.00 (selling).
The Hong Kong Dollar is valued at NPR 17.29 (buying) and NPR 17.37 (selling), Kuwaiti Dinar at NPR 437.21 (buying) and NPR 439.16 (selling), and Bahraini Dinar at NPR 356.98 (buying) and NPR 358.57 (selling). The Omani Riyal is set at NPR 349.55 (buying) and NPR 351.10 (selling).
The Indian Rupee is listed at NPR 160.00 (buying) and NPR 160.15 (selling) for 100 units. Nepal Rastra Bank has noted that these rates are subject to revision as needed, and rates determined by commercial banks may vary. The latest rates are available on the central bank’s website.
