Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) CEO Deepak Raj Joshi has announced plans to organize a Nepal-India-China Expo soon. Speaking at an event, he stated that although the expo was initially planned for 2020, preparations are now being made to hold it shortly.
Joshi mentioned that discussions regarding the expo have already taken place among tourism entrepreneurs from India and China, and a press conference will be held soon to provide further details. Additionally, he highlighted that NTB is planning to organize events such as the Buddhist International Travel Mart and various mountain-related programs to promote tourism in Nepal. He also announced initiatives to promote Adventure Asia and Wildlife Tourism this year.
Despite the challenges in tourist arrivals, Joshi emphasized the importance of developing air infrastructure to increase visitor numbers. He expressed confidence that by 2025, Nepal will see a significant rise in tourist arrivals.
