The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB), together with 15 travel and tour companies from Nepal, is participating in the three-day Bangladesh Travel and Tourism Fair (BTTF) 2026 in Dhaka, showcasing Nepal’s diverse tourism experiences and seeking to strengthen bilateral tourism ties between Nepal and Bangladesh. Nepal’s participation at the fair aims to increase awareness of the country’s tourism attractions among Bangladeshi travellers while creating opportunities for Nepali travel businesses to connect with travel trade partners and prospective visitors.
Nepal Highlights Diverse Tourism Experiences
The Nepal delegation is promoting the country as a destination offering a wide range of experiences, from breathtaking Himalayan landscapes and adventure activities to rich cultural heritage and nature-based travel. Visitors to the Nepal pavilion can learn about Nepal’s major tourism destinations, trekking and adventure opportunities, cultural attractions and other travel experiences. The participation also provides an opportunity for Nepal to present its distinctive travel offerings directly to the Bangladeshi market and encourage more travellers from Bangladesh to visit the country.

15 Travel Companies Join Nepal’s Delegation
Alongside the NTB, 15 travel and tour companies are participating in BTTF 2026 as part of Nepal’s delegation. The involvement of private-sector travel companies is expected to strengthen business-level connections between Nepali and Bangladeshi travel stakeholders. Representatives from participating companies are engaging with potential business partners and visitors to discuss travel packages, destinations and tourism products. Such direct engagement is expected to create new opportunities for collaboration between travel agencies and tour operators from the two countries.
B2B Platform Creates New Business Opportunities
BTTF 2026 provides a significant platform for business-to-business (B2B) engagement among tourism industry stakeholders. Nepali travel companies are using the fair to meet Bangladeshi travel agencies, tour operators and other industry representatives, with discussions focused on developing business partnerships and promoting travel between the two countries. The B2B interactions are also expected to help travel businesses explore new markets, establish commercial relationships and develop travel products that can encourage increased tourist movement between Nepal and Bangladesh.

B2C Engagement Connects Nepal With Prospective Travellers
In addition to trade networking, the fair offers a business-to-consumer (B2C) platform, allowing prospective travellers to directly interact with travel representatives. Through the B2C engagement, visitors can obtain information about Nepal’s destinations, tourism experiences and travel opportunities. The platform also allows Nepal to understand the interests and preferences of potential travellers in the Bangladeshi market. The interaction is expected to inspire prospective travellers to consider Nepal for their future holidays and adventure trips.
Nepal Promotes Himalayan Landscapes and Cultural Heritage
A key focus of Nepal’s participation is the promotion of the country’s iconic Himalayan landscapes, cultural heritage and adventure travel opportunities. Nepal is internationally recognized for its spectacular mountain scenery and trekking routes, while its cultural heritage provides visitors with opportunities to experience historic cities, temples, monasteries, festivals and traditional communities. The country also offers a broad range of adventure activities, including trekking, mountaineering and other outdoor experiences, making it an attractive destination for travellers seeking both adventure and cultural exploration.
Strengthening Nepal–Bangladesh Tourism Ties
Nepal’s participation in BTTF 2026 is also aimed at further strengthening tourism relations between Nepal and Bangladesh. By bringing tourism businesses and prospective travellers together, the fair provides a platform to promote greater people-to-people connectivity and encourage increased travel exchanges between the two countries. The participation of both the public and private sectors from Nepal demonstrates a coordinated effort to expand the country’s presence in the Bangladeshi travel market and develop stronger partnerships with tourism stakeholders.

Nepal Invites Visitors to Explore the Country
The Nepal Tourism Board and participating tourism companies have invited visitors at BTTF 2026 to discover Nepal’s diverse travel offerings and experience the country’s natural beauty, cultural richness and adventure opportunities. Nepal’s participation is expected to contribute to greater visibility of the destination in Bangladesh while creating new business opportunities for tourism companies on both sides.
The three-day BTTF 2026 is being held at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center (BCFCC), Carnival Hall, Dhaka, where visitors can explore travel destinations and products presented by participating countries and travel businesses. Through its participation, Nepal is reinforcing its message to Bangladeshi travellers: Nepal is a destination to visit, explore and experience.
