The Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) is set to participate in the highly anticipated Travel & Adventure Show in Los Angeles in 2025, showcasing the country’s diverse travel experiences to the U.S. market alongside five distinguished travel operators.

The following esteemed travel companies are representing the Nepali tourism industry at the event: Ojha Holidays Tours & Treks Pvt. Ltd., Friends Adventure Team Pvt. Ltd., Earth Nepal Holidays Pvt. Ltd., Nepal Trek Adventure and Expedition Pvt. Ltd., and Nepal Sanctuary Treks Pvt. Ltd. Each of these companies brings a unique offering to the table, emphasizing the variety of adventures and cultural experiences available in Nepal.

Visitors can find the Nepal Tourism Board at Booth No. 825 at the Los Angeles Convention Center (Hall AB), where they will have the opportunity to delve into Nepal’s breathtaking landscapes, rich cultural heritage, and thrilling adventures, such as trekking in the Himalayas, exploring ancient temples, and experiencing local festivals.

In addition to showcasing travel experiences, NTB will host a special giveaway during the event. As part of its promotional efforts, NTB will organize a lucky draw, giving one fortunate couple the chance to embark on an extraordinary Everest Base Camp Familiarization (FAM) Trip. This exclusive experience aims to introduce travelers to the breathtaking beauty of Nepal’s Himalayas while fostering a deeper appreciation for the country’s adventure tourism.

The winning couple will get the unique opportunity to witness the grandeur of the Everest region up close. This immersive journey will not only showcase Nepal’s natural wonders but also provide firsthand insights into its trekking culture and hospitality. Through this initiative, NTB hopes to inspire more travelers to explore Nepal’s iconic landscapes and establish the country as a premier adventure destination.

NTB CEO Deepak Raj Joshi highlighted the significance of the U.S. market for Nepal’s tourism industry. He noted that in 2024, the United States contributed nearly 10% of the total tourist arrivals, with approximately 112,000 visitors. This figure positioned the U.S. as Nepal’s second-largest source of tourists, following India. The growing interest from American travelers underscores Nepal’s appeal as a premier destination for adventure, culture, and nature-based experiences.

Joshi further emphasized Nepal’s commitment to strengthening its presence in the U.S. travel market. He stated that continuous promotional efforts will help solidify Nepal’s reputation as a must-visit destination for American tourists. With its rich cultural heritage, breathtaking landscapes, and diverse adventure opportunities, Nepal aims to attract even more travelers from the U.S. in the coming years.

Recognizing the USA as a key source market for Nepal, the Nepal Tourism Board is committed to strengthening ties and inspiring American travelers to explore the wonders of Nepal. This participation in the Travel & Adventure Show is a significant step toward further establishing Nepal as a must-visit destination for travelers from the United States, ensuring that they are aware of the unique experiences and adventures that await them in this stunning country.
