Legendary Nepali climber Pasang Dawa Sherpa (Pa Dawa) has successfully reached the summit of Mt. Everest for the 31st time, adding another milestone to his remarkable mountaineering career. He completed this ascent early this morning at 4:20 AM on May 22, according to expedition officials.

Second Summit of the Season
This marks his second Everest summit of the current climbing season, further strengthening his record as one of the most experienced high-altitude climbers in the world. His consistent performance continues to highlight his endurance and expertise in extreme conditions.
Confirmation from Expedition Officials
Tendi Sherpa, owner of TSG Nepal and a UIAGM/IFMGA-certified mountain guide, confirmed the achievement. He stated that Pa Dawa successfully reached the summit and is now safely descending toward lower camps.

Tendi himself has also been active on Everest this season, having summited the peak 19 times in total across his climbing career.

Pasang Dawa Sherpa (Pa Dawa Sherpa) was climbing as part of the TAG Nepal / Climbing the Seven Summits Everest Expedition this season, which has seen multiple successful ascents.

Close Race with Kami Rita Sherpa
With this latest climb, Pa Dawa is now just one summit behind Kami Rita Sherpa, who recently achieved his 32nd Everest summit, setting an unmatched record. Earlier this season, Pa Dawa had already completed his 30th Everest summit on May 18, showing rapid progress within a short span of time.
