Radisson Hotel Group Launches Career Fest 2026 With AI Focus

Radisson Hotel Group is set to host the 2026 edition of its global Career Fest throughout October, bringing employees and aspiring hospitality professionals together around career development, international opportunities and the changing skills needed in the hotel industry.

Hospitality Careers Take New Directions

This year’s Career Fest comes at a time when careers in hospitality are becoming increasingly diverse. Professionals can now move between hotel operations, management, technology, guest services and other specialised areas, while international mobility is also creating opportunities to gain experience in different markets. Radisson Hotel Group plans to use the event to highlight these different career routes.

Sessions will cover topics such as professional growth, international career moves, leadership development, personal branding and interview preparation, alongside discussions about new roles emerging as the hospitality industry changes.

Iñigo Capell, Global Chief People & Resources Officer at Radisson Hotel Group, said the company wants employees and new talent to see hospitality as an industry where professional journeys can develop in many different ways. He also pointed to opportunities in newer areas such as artificial intelligence as part of the changing employment landscape.

AI Becomes Key Part of Career Development

Artificial intelligence will feature prominently in this year’s programme as hotels and hospitality businesses increasingly explore the use of technology in their operations. Career Fest sessions will look at how AI can support employees, improve work processes and contribute to more personalised guest services.

The programme will also encourage hospitality professionals to build skills that can remain relevant as technology develops. Along with AI, participants will be able to explore digital capabilities, leadership and other emerging skills that could shape hospitality jobs in the coming years.

Global Sessions to Connect Hospitality Talent

Career Fest 2026 will include virtual learning sessions, leadership conversations, workshops and activities organised across Radisson Hotel Group’s markets. Employees and participants will have opportunities to hear directly from people working in different positions and regions within the company.

Career stories will be another part of the programme, offering examples of how employees have moved between roles, taken up international assignments or progressed into leadership positions. The company said these experiences are intended to give participants a broader understanding of the career possibilities available within the hospitality sector.

Radisson Strengthens Focus on Talent Development

The 2026 Career Fest builds on the group’s broader efforts to support employee learning, internal mobility and leadership development. Radisson Hotel Group has more than 75,000 employees and operates or has under development more than 1,660 hotels across over 100 countries.

The previous edition of Career Fest attracted more than 12,000 registrations and generated 26.77 million social media impressions. The 2026 programme is expected to build on that reach by connecting hospitality workers, students and job seekers with information about career development and the future skills needed in the industry.
