In preparation for the upcoming Koshi Tourism Year 2082, the Koshi Province Government has launched a security sticker campaign to ensure the safety of tourists visiting the region. The initiative involves affixing yellow security-check stickers on vehicles, particularly those entering from neighboring India.

According to Spokesperson of the District Police Office, Yograj Khatriwada, the campaign officially began today at the Koshi Barrage, where security-check stickers were placed on Indian tourist vehicles.

Sadananda Mandal, Minister for Tourism, Forest, and Environment of Koshi Province, personally participated in the campaign by affixing stickers to vehicles. He stated that the campaign would be extended to all border points connecting with India to strengthen tourist safety protocols.

The launch event saw the participation of key officials including Sunsari Chief District Officer Dharmendra Mishra, Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law Ram Prasad Acharya, District Police Chief Suman Kumar Timilsina, other members of the District Security Committee, and local representatives. The province aims to attract a significant number of tourists during the designated tourism year and has prioritized security measures to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors.
