The Nepal Mountain Leader Association (NMLA) successfully held its 9th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Poush 20, 2082 (January 4, 2026) at Hotel Vistara, Kathmandu. The event marked a significant milestone for the association as it not only reviewed the achievements of the past year but also elected a new executive committee to steer the organization forward.
Executive Committee for the Second Term
In a unanimous decision, Dawa Tashi Sherpa was re-elected as the President of NMLA, reflecting the confidence and trust of the members in his leadership. This marks his second term as president, building on his first term during which he successfully positioned Nepal on the international mountain leadership stage and strengthened NMLA’s role in the tourism and mountaineering sectors.
Alongside him, the newly elected executive committee includes:
