Tangting, Annapurna Conservation Area: The installation of street lights along the trekking route in Tangting village has been successfully completed. This initiative aims to enhance convenience for both locals and visitors, especially during evening hours.
The project was undertaken as part of the approved annual program of the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP), Sikles Regional Conservation Office, in collaboration with the Conservation Area Management Committee (CAMC) Namarchung.

A total of 32 poles equipped with street lights have been installed across various neighborhoods of Tangting village. This development is expected to significantly improve mobility and safety for residents and tourists exploring the region after dusk.
Tangting village, known for its stunning Himalayan views and cultural heritage, is a key attraction in the Annapurna Conservation Area. With the installation of street lights, the trekking experience is now safer and more enjoyable for adventurers visiting this picturesque destination. The completion of this project underscores the commitment of ACAP and local stakeholders toward sustainable development and tourism infrastructure enhancement in Nepal.
