Taalpokhara Experiences a Thriving Surge in Domestic Tourists as Summer Kicks Off

As the summer season progresses, the number of tourists visiting Taalpokhara has been increasing. Located in Rampur Municipality-6, Tal Pokhara has seen a surge in domestic tourists visiting the area.

Tourists are increasingly enjoying activities such as boating, sightseeing in the park, and taking photos, TikTok videos, and other content. The area has become a popular destination for tourists, thanks to the well-paved road connecting the nearby Bajhad market, Kisambari market, and Vijaypur to Taalpokhara.

Janak Bhandari, a member of the Taalpokhara Conservation Committee, mentions that the number of visitors increases during holidays. With better road access, it has become easier for tourists to reach Taal Pokhara. According to boat operator Bhagwan Devkota, there are currently five boats available at the site.

The area around the lake has been well-maintained, providing tourists with comfortable resting spots. It is reported that more than a hundred tourists visit daily. The lake, which previously filled with water during the monsoon, was developed by the local community into a well-organized site for tourism. As a result, the area has recently become one of the best tourist destinations. The Nepal government has also recognized this area as one of the 100 tourist destinations, contributing to its development.
