TEWAN Celebrates Establishment Anniversary with Tourism Promotion in Chitwan

On the 24th of Mangsir, a vibrant and successful tourism promotion and interaction program was held in Sauraha, Chitwan, to celebrate the establishment anniversary of the Tourism Entrepreneur Women Association Nepal (TEWAN). The event was organized with the coordination of local tourism associations and institutions in collaboration with the Ratnanagar Municipality, marking a significant milestone for both the organization and the tourism industry in the region.

The program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Bhesh Raj Duwadi, the coordinator of the Tourism Promotion Committee of Ratnanagar Municipality. During his address, he emphasized the importance of tourism in driving local economies and the essential role of women entrepreneurs in shaping the future of Nepal’s tourism sector. The event was welcomed by Chuna Rijal, the president of the local tourism business association, and gratitude was expressed by Ganga Giri, the president of the Regional Hotel Association Chitwan, to all attendees and supporters.

The program, coordinated by organizations such as the Ratnanagar Chamber of Commerce, REWAN Chitwan, and the Nepal Tourism Board Chitwan, was a grand success. The two-day event included interaction sessions held in Sauraha on the first day and Nawalpur Piprahar on the second. These sessions provided a platform for discussions on the current state of tourism, challenges faced by local entrepreneurs, and future opportunities for growth in the tourism sector.

Special thanks were extended to the Home Stay Association’s President, Chandra Mahato, and Som Nath Mahato for their valuable contributions. A heartfelt appreciation was also given to all the participating organizations, associations, and institutions for their cooperation and support, including the Nepal Tourism Board Chitwan.
